Contact form widgets
A contact form makes it easier for your website visitors to get in touch with you, as this can be done directly via the website and no separate email program is required. With a contact form, you can specify fields for the required information - such as name, e-mail address and request. A contact form also offers protection against spam. The use of various security measures in the Website Builder significantly reduces automated spam messages. Protection with a captcha (security query) is therefore not necessary for the contact form.
Important: The contact form can only be used on your website if SSL encryption (https) is active. The entries made by your website visitors are therefore only transmitted to the server in encrypted form.
The available widgets for the contact form can be found in the editor on the left in the "Insert" area. First insert the "Form" widget.
You can then add further fields to the contact form.
If you click on the contact form and edit it with the pencil icon, you can enter the recipient email address(es), among other things.
To make further settings for the contact forms, such as a user-defined sender or the use of SMTP, click on the "gear icon" at the top, then on "Settings" and then "Email".
